Bevan will be also performing as a senior member of portfolio management firm RiverPeak’s investment committee.
She was a Charles Stanley employee since 2003, holding the position of the co-head of open-ended fund research, and was also co-manager of the IM Matterley International Growth Portfolio.
She relinquished from her position earlier in October amid a restructure which resulted in three of her colleagues, amongst which is Stephen Peters, the investment manager and co-head of collectives research, departing from the firm.
The restructure ended up bringing together 4 of its Charles Stanley’s asset management businesses: CPS, Pan Asset, Matterley, and IHT.
Bevan’s previous work experience includes working at Merrill Lynch Investment Managers as well as Merrill’s Private Client Group.
Nick Parker, RiverPeak Wealth’s managing director, said: “We are thrilled that Shauna is to join us. Her near unrivaled experience in the fund universe, her deep analytical skills and thoughtful, considered, approach to investment management will be invaluable to us.
“Shauna further adds to our firm’s expertise and I know, as we continue to grow, her arrival will make our proposition all the more attractive.”
Bevan commented: “I am delighted to be joining the team at RiverPeak. I have seen the quality of the advice the firm provides to its clients, and I am looking forward to being part of what I know will be a very exciting and rewarding future.”
